Has anyone built a flatbed for a standard four wheel camper? If so pics, designs or advice would be helpful. I have a 2010 grandby and want more storage. Thanks.

Check out post #6 in this link... http://www.wanderthewest.com/forum/topic/13922-suggestions-for-matching-camper-with-my-intended-use/?hl=%2Bjohn+%2Barmitage#entry163742

It’s not a Grandby, but use your imagination. John’s flatbed is an aluminum model from Highway products in So Oregon. Storage above and below the FB. Warning, that FB was over $10k when built some years ago. It’s pretty nice, but it’s pricey.

Moose Dog just had a similar build done in steel, a Skaug utility bed. In the link below, Post 27 has a photo of Madison’s truck prior to getting her beautiful new Alaskan.

Wanna see the ultimate flatbed/standard camper build?

It definitely was humbling for my poor little Grandby! (NOT!) Why the poor guy didn't just buy a Tiger RV and be done with it I'll never know!
