Fleet vs. late 90's Hawk on full size truck?

Wondering which is better: 2016 Fleet in great condition vs. late 90's Hawk on full size truck. And what would I look out for in a late 90's Hawk (other than leaks/appliances)?

Well... Fleet is narrower, just depends on how much room you like.

We started with an old 84 fleet shell, but it was the 7.5 foot model...felt narrow and small with 2 adults and 2 dogs..

Got a 85 Grandby I gutted and rebuilt.. felt bigger.. more open on the floor..

Now in a 2013 Grandby Shell, with added options, but perfect for us.. still feels small at times when weather is poor..

I would inspect all exterior wood, floor, sides, etc., for signs of rot or insect damage.

Add the wood lift boards to the Hawk inspection. If the camper has had a lot of condensation, they could be an issue. I’d also talk to the seller of the Fleet about roof oil canning.
