Winter is when we use our Granby the most. That's when we head for Baja. The vinyl sides hold up well, just put some 303 on them occasionally.

I apply the aerospace protectant 303 about once a month since I bought the camper.

Looking good man. Not too many Swifts on here. We have chatted on Instagram a few times. I like the interior of your camper. We have to come up with creative ways since the Swifts are small. I need to share some of my changes that I've made to mine.

Probably the most qualified to answer after spending the previous winter in the camper fulltime here in the PNW. In my full honest opinion it sucks for fulltime but if your only using for weekend trips and have ability to dry it out afterwards it it will be fine.

The problem I had was condensation like many even if you vent at night and wipe down all surfaces daily moisture will still find its way into the wood and cause rot and mildew. The best thing about having the camper on during the winter is all the added traction weight.

Ya I noticed all the condensation in the mornings. I try leaving all the windows and door open during the day to dry out. Having the extra side insulation makes it toasty for us three.

For sure. Adding storage to the Swift will be my winter project.

So, what's the treatment to stop the condensation?
Just spent four weeks going from Boise to Coldfoot, Alaska in my 2015 Hawk. Most mornings, all the wooden strips on ceiling were wet. I tried everything closed and everything open. Heat on and heat off. Vent open, vent closed. Thanks for any help.

Packing the camper for this weekend. Going to Packwood, WA for their 2nd Oktoberfest. It's supposed to be in the 70s during the day and really cold at night. I will try opening one of the turnbuckle doors and the roof vents to keep condensation down. We shall see.

Would a fan help keeping the condensation down? I just bought a swift, and have a small marine DC fan i will leave on to move air around, I guess when I do the fantastic fan i wont need it

Opening one turnbuckle door and both roof vents has completely stopped condensation build up.

Anyone have pictures and/or thoughts about a swift on a Tacoma w a 6’ bed? I only see the swift on the dbl cab 5’ bed.

Any of the Frontier owners by chance experimented with mounting an air foil/storage on top of a Frontier cab roof? The Swift and Frontier combo doesn't leave much room on the cab roof.
