Congrats indeed, That's one of the hardest subjects. My son has a degree in Microbiology. Soon to be going back for his masters. In these kind of subjects the washout rate after 1st year is over 50%. To get to a PHD not only does it require hard work it requires an obsessive fascination with the subject matter. It can't be done otherwise.

Brag away. This country need a lot more young people with the right stuff to get through degree programs in the sciences and engineering. They are the future!
