Grandby fit in 2019+ RAM HD?

If you have a 2019+ RAM 2500 or 2500 and also have a Grandby I would be interested in learning more about how it fits. More specifically, I am interested in if it is possible to slide the Grandby far enough forward, or trim the rubber bumpers, so you can close the tail gate.

I have been looking at the Vertical Tailgate Mount from Wilco which replaces the OEM tailgate and permits an oversized spare to be mounted. Here is a picture pulled from an older post I found here on WTW:

I believe Expedition 1 products will close.

I have a 2021 Ram 3500 longbed. Grandby install May 31. Looking at swing away options. Expedition 1 has one and I am told as long as camper does not extend beyond tail lights, their product works.

E1 is doing an install soon and will report back any figment issues.
