greasing uac while traveling

so we did 3 different trips all between 4-5 thousand miles 40 days average! my Tundra after market uac should be greased every 3-4 thousand miles. Do you stop at a local garage an get them greased or do u carry a grease gun????

Much more convenient/cheaper to carry a grease gun. Problem is most grease guns weep, especially in warm conditions. Double wrap in some protective cover if you decide to carry one. Not wanting to hijack this discussion but has anyone ever found a grease gun that does not leak, if so let us know.

What type of grease are you using? I have used "Red-I" in some very demanding applications including one in an extremely abrasive environment and been pleased with the results. It could be that with the right grease that your service intervals can be extended.
