Great deal on battery

Hey, first post on the forum and wanted to let everyone know that RuralKing.com has replacement Exide Edge AGM Part# FP-AGM24DP batteries on sale for 119.99 with free shipping this beats the best price I could find by about 80 dollars. Just picked one up myself to run two batteries in the Hawk. Not sure on the rules for posting links so moderators if not allowed please delete.

That's a great price. When I got my camper, I didn't buy the 2nd battery from FWC because I could get it elsewhere for a lot less. But not this cheap. I had to make my own wires to connect them, but I have a spool of #8 finely-stranded copper wire, so it was easy and free.

I know that other batteries are more highly regarded by members of this community than the Exide Edge, but it made sense to me for the two batteries to be identical. I'm not sure how important that is. Any experience out there with paralleled non-identical batteries?

When paralleling batteries they will settle to the voltage of the weaker of the two. If the size is the same then they will work OK but not ideal. That being said there are only 2 or 3 manufactures of batteries and they private label all the brands.
