Green River Float

If you are a hiker, WITHOUT QUESTION, hike up to "The Dollhouse" through Surprise Valley. Simply one of the most stunning areas on the planet.

Wholeheartedly concur. I was on a 5-day oarboat trip from Potash to Hite in June 1994. Our 3rd night was spent on the beach at the foot of Brown Betty rapid, just below Spanish Bottom. We'd stopped by 2pm that day so a few of us hiked up to The Dollhouse. I recall it being about 1,500' of elevation gain and after 3 days lazing on the rafts, it took some effort, but man-o-man was it worth it. From what I'd read in preparation for that trip, the Utes considered the Confluence of the Green River and the Grand River(now called the Colorado River) to be the center of the universe.
