I have a Eagle model camper and would like to hang it in my shop for storage. It would need to hang high to be out of my way. Has anyone done this and can you share your method?

Interesting concept...wish I had that kind of space! I definitely wouldn't hang it by the camper itself but by whatever support structure you create underneath it. Ie, by a super burly pallet type support underneath it....kind of like a boat hoist. Good luck, keep us posted.

I have heard of customers doing this, but it is rare.

Most people dont' have the space, a good strong hoist, or the technical ability to make it happen.

Attached is the only picture I have saved of something similar.

The customer also braced the camper under the floor for good measure.

This extends to almost 13 feet high. If you do it make sure you post pix.

Would it be structurally possible to use the jack brackets as mounting points for a lift system? Thanks

I'm going to make a camper hoist so I can keep my camper and/or shell up in the air and so I can wheel it around and place it on my truck. Similar to the way the "POD" people do it with those giant storage boxes. Should be pretty easy.
