My first thought was is this a good omen or a bad omen?
So there I was, driving my less than 2 week old Hawk Shell on my Tundra on the freeway in San Antonio to a Dr. appointment. When suddenly BAM! My first thought was my fairing on the roof blew off..my solar panel just blew off??!! I look in the rearview mirror and see wings! I have a big bird stuck between the rear cab of the truck and the camper! I was sure it was dead so no use stopping on the side of the freeway. Less than a mile from my destination it started moving around. It’s a HAWK! Getting out there was some “splatter” but then I saw a rather beat up pigeon laying back there. His prey! He crawled his way to the end jumped out and went to some grass, I got his “lunch” with a napkin and tossed it to him but I guess he lost his appetite. When I came out of my appointment he was still there, I talked to him a bit and said he was about to ruin my day, pulled out my phone to call the Division of Wildlife when a lady pulls up saying she has been eating her lunch and watching and worrying about the poor bird. And then he flew away.
i do have a dent in my new Hawk but what a heck of a story on how it got there!

OK how do you rotate images again!? Sorry
