Finally a nice day here, temps in the low 30s, that's basically summer here in Wisconsin. Got 95% of my build done. Added shore power and 206ah of SOK lithium. Worked out mostly how I planned. The SOK battery was a bit bigger than I had anticipated, but everything fit. Between the battery upgrade here and in my boat I think I'll only need to recharge every 4 or so days. Going to be a lot easier to find places to camp without constantly having to worry about power.

I just put an SOK in my 2015 Hawk and replaced the IOTA DSL-30/IQ4 with a PD-9130ALV. I like how you put an AC outlet in, I cut my wires on the AC line and mated it to the existing wire.

So I charged from it when my batt was at 60% SOC. I only saw 13amps from it! That’s no better than my solar. What current values are you seeing??? Did you get the “pendant” to check mode or force a mode?

Weird thing is it dropped to 2-3 amps at 70% SOC, and at some point I lit my fridge off on DC doing something else. When I shutoff the fridge, the current from the PD to battery had gone back up to 12-13amps until it hit 100% charged.

I have a PD charger in an Intech Flyer Pursue trailer with a 105 aH LiFePO4 battery. I was seeing only about 12-13 amps when charging. The Intech forum had posted a solution which was to purchase the IntelliPower Charge Wizard plug in unit to fix this issue. After plugging into shore power, push the manual over ride button on the Charge Wizard. This boosts the charging to full power for up to 4 hours. Once the unit determines it should be charging at a lower rate or after 4 hours, it turns off boost mode and reverts to the lower charge rate to finish the process. Has been working for me for 3 years now.

Thanks Paul! Sounds like an easy solution. I need this when boondocking and charging off my generator.

My charger usually sends the full 30amps when charging, until close to the end. I have my Victron monitor reset SOC to 100% when it sees 14 or so volts for some amount of time, so I think the battery is getting fully charged. I actually had a few questions when I set mine up and called PD directly, they were very helpful. So maybe give them a call.
