Heading to the East Side

Leaving this afternoon for a quick trip down to the east side of the Sierra. I will be camping up on the North Fork Trinity tonight and then heading down toward Reno area via Susanville. Stopping for a few hours outside of Reno on the Truckee R to meet with TNC (The Nature Conservancy)staff to discuss a restoration project we are currenlty working on with them. Then I will be continuing down the east side to Convict Lake. I am attending a wedding at Convict Lake on Saturday.

I was thinking about heading up to Laurel Lakes on Sunday.....has anyone been up there lately? Heading back up north on Monday.

If anyone is going to be in the area and wants to meet up let me know.

We'll be at Sagehen Friday and Saturday night. That's a little out of your way - closer to Truckee. But thought I'd pass it on just in case. Have fun. Any trip down 395 is a good one.

yeah I probably won't make it to Sagehen....but I'm sure we will see each other for a fall Rally.
