hey
wondering if anyone has any good ideas on how we can easily heat our 68 NCO alaskan camper.
we just need some heat for the shoulder seasons and since it is so small, not a ton of heat is needed.
it needs to not require power. we have found some catalytic heaters, but $500 seems pricey for the camper we paid $800 for!!!

we use our old olympian. it heats great in both the 10'nco and the 10' cabover(haven't relied on the built-in heater yet). the nice thing about our olympian is we have used it in many rigs over the years(even tent trailers), so the heater has paid for itself several times over. ours has a set of brackets to stand freely, so we set it on the counter or the stove.i suppose that those buddy heaters would do alright too.

How cold?

I have used the wave 3 in a nco and my current cabover as secondary heat. Stays comfortable to about 20 degrees. Below that the atwood furnace in the cabover is required.

The wave is nice for quiet and no electrical requirements.
