Well, after years and years of dreaming, it's finally all coming together. I have myself an '09 Silverado standard bed 4x4, and I've found a nice 2006 Hawk which I'm going to pick up next week.

1. I'm wondering about heights and whether I might need spacers. How much side rail clearance does the Hawk have? (The rails on my Silverado are 21 inches above the cargo bed.)

2. Also wondering about the measurement from the bottom of the camper body to the underside of the cabover. On the Chevy it's 43 inches from the cargo bed to the highest point of the cab roof. How much space will that give me between the cab roof and the camper cabover?

3. Lastly, this Hawk has a fixed window. I need to replace it with a slider. Can I get one of those somewhere, and is it owner installable?

Many thanks for all help.
