I don't know the overall number of them made at all the various franchises, but I happen to own one with an RD Hall Sun Valley, CA tag on it and ran across another tag which I believe is also a RD Hall Sun Valley, CA tag.
Notice that one is dated 10/75 and mine is dated 12/76. That is about 14 months. If we go by the SERIAL NUMBERS, the difference between the earlier #2737 and my #2903, we get a difference of 166. That would mean they produced about 11-12 per month just from the original Sun Valley location.
Hopefully the condition of my tag will enable those who have a similarly stamped tag with nothing remaining of the original information on it to determine if theirs is in fact an RD Hall Sun Valley Alaskan.
Mine is an 8' CO by the way.
Now this camper of mine with a 12/76 date on it also had the following written on the inside of the rear vent assembly...
