How to make side lockers on trailer

I'm loving my 1963 NCO 10' that I just recently purchased. I've been living in it for the past week while I'm working out of town and probably will be staying in it for the next month or so. I'm wanting to tweak my set-up I have slightly. Currently, I have it being pulled with my truck sitting in a truck bed trailer. My truck bed is only 6.5 ft long and I bought an 8 ft. truck bed trailer that it sits in.
What I'm wanting to do is get either a 10 or 12 ft. flat bed trailer (wanting tandem axle) because it sits lower and wont' bounce as much on the highway. My question is how would I make the boxes (lockers) that will sit under the top half of the camper to help support it? Would they need to be welded?
I'm not sure if they are really called lockers or not but I've seen them before on this forum with campers sitting on flat bed trailers.
Thanks for your help,
Joe

I'm thinking of doing something like what this gentlemen did to his. I thought this one was home-made

The ideal setup, Joe, is to find a 10' utility bed to set your camper on. I've been looking for a non-dually utility bed for years, to put mine on. I have my wheel track built to match my 3/4 ton Dodge, so I need a single-wheel 10' ute bed, and they're hard to locate, used. Utility beds have all the boxes built in, so once the camper's on there, you're good to go.

If you are halfway decent with a welder these types of lockers might be suitable for you rpurpose, they are on my to do list this spring.
At present I have built a subframe that my jackstands can slide into for use when installing or removing camper form my deck. 20190926_175458_HDR (2).jpg
When I first though about ''lockers'' I was going to make them full length in two parts but now I'm just going to make them about half the length and leave the other part open for easy access stuff , water/firewood.....
good luck

Does anyone have any idea where to buy siding for the sides of the lockers that will match the Alaskan?
