Craig, thanks for the thought! Although I did watch a few episodes of Lost in Space, I did like the corn cooked a little longer so I was more into Star Trek. Spock was my hero, and more so as I grow older - "Live long and prosper."

Many folks are into finding filming locations - as we did when we found Clint Eastwood's Lago (High Plains Drifter) on the shore of Mono Lake.

Some folks get a bit obsessed, in our opinion, but at least it is genuine fun for them. Here's an example of the Star Wars filming locations in Death Valley - Star Wars in Death Valley

I had no idea it was filmed in DV but I'm pretty ignorant about Star Wars. Even though I've seen all the movies at a trivia event I couldn't answer a single question.
