Insulation

So there is a lot of dead air space between the sides of truck and camper. Has anyone filled that in with any luck? Maybe a inflatable, bag filled with some sort of insulation? Reason i use this example, when i use to kayak there bags that we would stuff in the boats to fill the dead space incase of the boat filling with water. Just an idea..

Nice thinking "outside the box", literally! I may try pulling the flotation out of my two sea kayaks and putting into truck bed. At a minimum it will reduce convective loss from air flow.
