Quick overnighter for a ranch gathering with some vaquero pals.
Camped on a big spread that looked like New Zealand thanks to all the rain we've had this season.
Grey whales in the channel, deer in the poppies, and rack of lamb on the mesquite fire.
The new-to-me camper package is showing all the quirks I knew I'd find, but handled the ranch roads and depths of Los Angeles fine.
Ran into fellow Four-Wheel freak Alan at Refugio for breakfast on the way out.
So far so good...:thumb:

A Coupla More...

A better shot of Alan's 1986 Grandby, bone stock and cherry.

A couple of a shots from the ranch. They had these deluxe tent cabins, but am partial to the overhead berth in the camper. Wind blew 30 with hits of 40. Tents and camper survived like nothing had happened.
