L-Track installation

Hi All,

I’m having a Raven shell model w/ roll over couch delivered soon and I was thinking of installing L-tracks to secure my cargo while I’m off roading. I’ve seen some people have installed them in their FWC and I’d love to know what your installation process was, any tips and tricks and how you like the tracks for cargo management.

I installed around 10 eye straps at specific locations to suit my needs. I use bungee cords between ten to hold gear otherwise it all ends on floor.

With a shell you may have room for a track but it would not work for my built out Hawk.

Here is a previous post describing the L Track tie-down points I installed in our camper. These are not tracks, but the individual points. However, they accept the same removable mounting rings as the track:

I installed some Ltrack on the floor to secure my branch seat. I can pretty quickly take the bench out and have a pretty normal truck bed hauling capacity. Just screwed them into the floor and that’s that. If I were a better carpenter I would get the flush ones for a better look.
