Lake Powell Info Needed

I am planning a trip to the Lake Powell area in early fall. Not familiar with the area. I will be hauling a 20' cuddy cabin boat behind by F250 4x4 with Alaskan C/O. I am particularly interested in remote or semi-remote areas where I could launch the boat and set up the camper in the same area. Dont know if that is practical or posssible but any info would be appreciated. I would probably be going in from the South from Vegas but that can be revised if better offerings on the other side.
