Leave No Trace Ethic of Burning Man Challenged

Was that left over from last year?
Yes, from what the newspaper article says. Everything at the Burning Man site was cleaned up as per their permit for the event. The 747 was moved 12 miles away, like no one would notice a 747?

So much for leave no trace. I hope the BLM tracks down whom ever brought it out there and makes them haul it back to where ever it came from.

Each year, a fair number of folks leave their "art piece" in the Gerlach area, paying "rent" to local property owners to store them until next years Burning Man. Better than having to haul them home over busy highways on a Sunday afternoon. Same goes for various trailers and motor homes. I suspect that locals (who may have paid $300.00 per acre for their land) are "OK" with this idea.
