That is very cool! Great find. Glad to see no strikes in the PNW right now, we dont need any with the hot dry conditions we have already

I never realized there were that many strikes over the ocean. Cloud to cloud, or do some of them strike the surface I wonder.

Worked good for us over the 4th weekend. Before we committed to our campsite, we found some 4G signal and dialed up lightningmaps.org and were able to see strikes forming a pattern moving away from us. That gave us confidence to climb up to our favorite spot, which was the right decision. The next two days the thunderheads followed the same behavior, sliding north, but not crossing the crest where we were. Thanks Bill!
