Manufacturers Plate

Hi...can anyone tell me where the manufacturers placarding is on an Alaskan Camper?....specifically a 1996 or 1997? I know where to find the SN, but I need to locate the plate with the manufacturers name, address, etc....if there is one. Buying in Canada and driving into US...it's required at customs. Thank you.

I take my Alaskan through the US all the time and have never been asked for paperwork. I have spent my time in secondary they have checked everything but never asked. I imported mine from WA state and have all the paperwork from there, Mine does not have a plate just the serial # on the aluminum rail on the back. Don't think I would worry about it as all of them of that age where built in the US.

Try calling Brian at Alaskan...If it were a 70's I could tell you...but some of the newer plates were plastic and not UV protected...crumbling problem

The older ones were aluminum and directly below the window on the back door....but alas, things changed
