found this 79 model on craigslist last week and got it last saturday.got it home and everything worked but the heater. heater guy fixed that for $75.00. gonna try it all out on a fishing trip soon. this one had been on a deer lease for 15 years.wasnt sure what i would find but for $200.00 its really ok

$200 the alum is worth more than that. Congrats on the camper, a little fix up and you will have years of use.

JUST AN UPDATE ,TRY TO GET SOME PICS THIS WEEKEND.ADDED A WINDOW UNIT TO THE GRANDBY.GETTING READY TO REPLACE VINAL WITH WOOD ON THE FLOOR.WE SOLD THE 99 POWERSTROKE TO MY STEPSON. SO WE GOT A 1989 F350 CCLB4X4 TO PUT THE GRndby on. TO DATE WE HAVE INSTALLED A ELECTRIC FAN IN PLACE OF THE FAN CLUTCH. ADDED 3G ALTERNATUR ,DID A REVERSE SCHACKEL TO FRONT DANA 60,INSTALLED 11,000 LB WHINCH.NEW FUEL TANKS AND SENDERS.REPLACED THE INJECTORS FILTERS IN THE 460ENGINE.REPLACED MASTER CLD AND BOOSTER WITH THE HYDRO BOOST FROM 06 F250 SICKO. A ARB LOCKER IN REAR AXLE AND A POWER TRACS LOCKRIGHT IN THE FRONT AXLE.. JUST ABOUT READY TO MOUNT CAMPER TO TRUCK
