Mini-roll over bed alternative

Accidentally posted this in the wrong section:


Heading out camping next week with my 1 year old and I'm thinking about building a mini bed by adding a second small mattress platform beside the couch, which is tiny in my Falcon. Has anyone done something to build a small kids bed in a finch or similar?

Dad will likely end up getting the boot and sleeping outside, but just interested if anyone has figure this out yet! Thanks!

I bought a cheap Ikea crib and cut it up to make it fold

Not the best photos but worked out great for our 1 year old
