If anyone in SoCal is looking for something interesting to do check this place out - the Miniature Engineering Craftsmanship Museum in Carlsbad. I went there last weekend and was amazed at what people with infinite patience and talent can do. Everything is in miniature and correct down to the last detail. Many of the pieces are also operational.
