Mixing Batteries

I have an regular lead acid truck starter battery and I want to use a Sure Power solenoid wired to the camper AGM battery for charging. Is there any problem with the alternator charging these two different kinds of batteries at the same time while driving? Thanks all.

Quint, You can do that but it is really not the best way to charge a AGM. To get the best life from the AGM it requires s smarter charger than your alternator, but it will work. There is some good general battery info here.
