Wow, sorry about the bad experiences.

I was there with a large group (I had the fish tacos)in late June. Everyone raved about their lunches. The group included folks who live and work in the area who eat there regularly.

I guess I should just stick to the to the Cowboy Code:

1. Never squat with your spurs on.
2. Always get your water upstream from the herd.
3. Never miss an opportunity to keep your mouth shut.

I stopped by there for lunch on the way to the XP rally. I was looking forward to it all morning and when I saw they had carnitas tacos (my favorite) life was looking good. That is until the food arrived. That was the worst carnitas and possibly the worst meal I have ever been served. Chunks of undercooked pork fat on luke warm store bought tortillas with runny black beans. Never again.


First bad review I have read. I always get the Kansas City Caesar Salad or if on the menu the Sherry Mushroom Soup. I eat there every September on a motorcycle ride (9-12 this year) Sorry you had a bad meal.

I guess I should have gone with the fish tacos but I'm spoiled by Baja prices and 10 bucks was a bit much.
