I’ve been waiting and watching the Common Milkweed in the plot and spotted these. I planted milkweed
seeds in winter for several years and they are present in enough numbers to attract breeders.

Once they turn into butterflies they will enjoy all the pollinators through October. Several species of butterflies call our farm home for reproduction and migration stops.

Cool pictures,Wayne thanks.
I would like to think our Monarchs might come from some of your plants
but our west coast ones come from a different area.
We have had a real bad decline of Monarchs for several years now.

They are so beautiful in the winter months in their huge groups hanging in the trees.

Thanks! Always something different to witness on my science project. :D

We made a 'road trip' to Mexico a few years ago to visit the Monarch Sanctuaries there. It was totally awesome! If you get a chance, head on down!
