I currently have an Eagle (06 I think) mounted on my Nissan Frontier Nismo, extended cab not crew, 6' bed.
I just picked up a 2019 Ram 1500 Classic Quad 4x4 with 6'4" bed
I'd like to mount the Eagle FWC onto the new truck HOWEVER in the future I'll get a Hawk FWC and sell the Eagle and I'd prefer to find a way to put my eye-bolts in such that I can mount the Hawk in the future but at this time mount the Eagle. Using either extra links or a longer turnbuckle would be fine for the bigger distance I assume but my question is WHERE do I (or perhaps HOW do I figure it out) put the bolts? I don't have a Hawk to use as a template.
Does anyone know the distance between bolts on the Hawk? (I don't have my Eagle with me, it's on a vacation property 9hrs away so .... same question anyone know the distance between bolts on the Eagle?)
Does it make sense that I could deduce from the difference the position to mount the bolts in the bed?
Other ideas?
Thanx
