Must sell '81 4 Wheel Popup Camper by Jan 27 2011 or goes to Goodwill
1981 model. Sleeps 4, has sink, fresh water tank, three burner stove, built-in ice box (not a refrigerator), heater. Will only fit older, larger truck beds. Has a custom built steel storage rack on the top. Also has a photovoltaic panel - is wired to the battery compartment, but not sure how that works. This survived a hail storm with a few dents on the side; and lots of small dents on the aluminum roof. Could probably be smoothed out using some roof sealer. Inside is in a bit of disassembly, but would not be difficult to put it back together. Paid $450 for this in January of 2009; never got around to "fixing it up" - come see it and make me an offer; only putting it on this site where people who appreciate the design/low weight of 4 wheel campers have this opportunity.
Located in Lakewood, Colorado my email is moway8les@live.com if you are interested; I will check this in the evenings & we can arrange a meeting.

Includes two HEAVY DUTY camper jacks which go with the camper that are probably strong enough to lift the truck with it !!! Will also include some tie down brackets which go in the holes of the pickup truck sides and several connectors and turn-buckles. Also have two roll open RV windows with internal screens which came out of an old aluminum camper shell might could be used for to replace the back window?

Pictures in attached file.

I'm sure that will end up being the right camper for somebody out there.

I'd hate to see it go to Goodwill, it looks to have a lot of life left in it.

Hello fellow Lakewoodonian,
Sold my 83 Granby a few years back and the phone was ringing off the hook. Mine was in great shape and I think probably sold it too cheap. Sticker shock looking at the new ones now!
Hope yours finds a good home.
