Looking for opinions, experience, and generally whether you think the following is a good deal or not.
I have the opportunity to buy the following TC/Truck package from the original owners for a sale tag of: $14,000.
What would you do?
2000 GMC Sierra 2500 (3 door extended cab)
4WD
Long Bed
Vortex 6.0L, 4 spd auto trans with OD
Tranny Cooling System
Engine Oil Cooler
Autotrac Transfer Case
Locking Rear Differential
Off Road Skid Plate
Wiring for camper/5th wheel
HD Trailering equipment
Trailering/Handling Suspension package
OEM rims and tires
Westin Running Bars
Truck has 30,399 original miles on it (not a typo)
I had the truck inspected by my mechanic and his only notes were the following:
Bump stops cracked
Tires weathered
AC needs recharge
It also has mounted in the back the following:
2000 8.5' Timberline "pop up" camper by Lite-Craft (Colorado)
3 way domestic fridge w/freezer
atwood 3 burner propane stove
6 gun suburban water heater
16,000 BTU forced air furnace/thermostat
3 layer insulated softball
20 lb propane
Power Convertor
Thetford cassette toilet with 17L holding tank
30 gln water tank
Inside shower
Queen bed
4 mechanical jacks (Titan)
Fan-Tastic Air Vent\
Scissor Steps
I currently own a 2006 Chevy Silverado
Vortex 6.0L V8 Gas Engine
just turned 100k miles
It is in good condition with the usual bumps n bruises for a 10 year old truck
New tranny 2 years (8k miles) ago
Standard Bed
Running Bars
Oversize Tires / Rims (Would swap with 2000 GMC)
So my predicament is this:
Should I buy the TC/Truck package and sell my truck to cover the cost after swapping the rims and tires and brand new (less than 1000 miles) Bilstein Shocks.
I figure I could get around 17k for my truck as it is.
I tried to add pictures for reference, don't think it worked
Thanks for any response.
Scott
