Hi folks. I recently drove some tough roads in DV and was not aware of a loose turnbuckle. When I hit a tough spot the Fleet popped up and the turnbuckle came off the connection and ended up below the base of the camper.

My rig is currently stored in Reno. I'm heading back April 4 to do some more exploring.

I'm hoping to connect with another FWC owner in the Reno area in order to borrow jacks for an hour or so to reset my camper.

Thanks ahead of time for your help!

If you’re unsuccessful finding help, My neighbor was able to rent a set of tripod based cable jacks to lift the roof of his BIG tent trailer to repair the lift recently. Cost $40.00 or so for the day. I would guess a place as big as the Reno/Sparks/Stead area should have someplace with a pair to rent.

Good luck

I had the same thing happen with my Fleet. I used a small hydraulic jack on a log and used a 2x4 across the overhang in the back to lift the camper to reset the camper and recover the turnbuckle. I was able to just shove the camper into place.

I live in Reno and can help on the 4th. I have jacks and plates. Can't help on the 5th. Let me know if you still need help. KT.

It’s the members that make WTW such a great forum!

Hi everyone! It looks like I have received two real solid offers of assistance. It looks like we've got this figured out.

Thanks, everyone for your generous offers of assistance.

If any of you WTW folks are ever up in Washington state/Pacific Northwest, and need some help, just let me know.
