I picked up my FWC Hawk shell on Oct 1st. I ordered the FWC Hawk shell with roll over couch, auxiliary battery system, solar panel, duel batteries, 5FT Yakima roof rack, screen door, privacy curtains, small opening drivers side window, roof lift assist, small portable table, and led lighting interior and exterior. The reason I ordered a shell is my truck is a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado step side this was the last new vehicle I could purchase before I retired in November of 2000. I have installed cabinets on the drivers side and under the front window. I am installing a 2300 watt inverter on the drivers side under the window to supply power for a microwave, toaster and other 110 volt items to keep power usage low. I am installing 12volt outlets along with a meter to keep track of battery power under the front window. I am going to install 110 volt outlets inside on the passenger and drivers side with a plug under the wing of the Hawk shell behind the cab on the passenger side. I will post pictures when I am finished with the build out....

Larry, your Hawk is very similar to my new one. (I have the two batteries, etc.) I'd like to install an invertor and a small microwave too. Can you include the model numbers and other specifics of the units? Has any one else done this?
Thanks,
Steve

Not that large, but many of us have inverters. Do a search for them. Just don't plan on running anything very long.
