here are some pics.
we usually attach a piece of wood first to the camper base.
this way we can screw the wood block in to the aluminum framing (outter edges of the camper base) and get a good "bite" into the front of the camper.
then we usually seal around the edges of the wood block with a marine grade silicone.
then we screw tbe rubber bumper into the wood block.
looks nice, works well.
