Hi, my name is David Olson, i'm a seinor here at montana state university studying biochemical engineering here in bozeman. I just ordered up my camper. It's the shell model with the furnace, fold out couch, arctic pack, mechanical jacks, and the 50 watt solar panel. It's going on a 2004 toyota tacoma. Here's some pics of my truck: (ps. if you know of anyone looking for a topper, please let them know that i'm selling mine!)

Welcome to the forum David. Man, looking at those pictures I can see why you ordered the Arctic Pack! Montana has some great country and I'm sure you will enjoy your new FWC.

Welcome to the forum!

When are you expecting delivery of your camper. Does FWC deliver to Montana? Do you plan on building out the inside of your shell model at all?

I'm expecting the camper towards the end of August to the beginning of September.

I'm getting the fold out couch on one side, then the furnace on the other. I'll build a counter top next to the furnace with possibly a sink and drain, some sort of storage, etc. I'm going to put lights on the outside which will be nice. Also, an update, I'm going to be getting the solar panel as well which will help out greatly on long trips.

DirtyDog, I saw that you have the Arctic pack, how do you like it? Would you say it's worth the money?

It's not worth the money for me. I've actually never used it. I never ended up doing any Winter camping and I just don't need it any other time of the year. Only get it if you are sure that you will be winter camping.

Ok, just checking. I know for a fact that I'll be winter camping. I just wanted to make sure that it works and is worth the money when it comes to keeping out the cold.
