Northern New Mexico - June 2024

Thanks Bill for the nice trip photos.
Nice to see all the wildflowers and animals you come across.
Thanks for taking the time to post your trip.
I think you poster a photo of the "cop car moth"on
another trip. What an interesting moth.

Bill, what a great trip and beautiful area! Wow, I like the look of that country,

You also got to experience my favorite seasoning, although we have renamed it Montana Seasoning. Montreal is one of those big doggone cities, and far too distant from the West. Montana just seems to sound better. 😇

Thanks for letting us tag along!

Bill, my years as a field scientist in Chama (early '80s) enabled me to explore that beautiful area in great detail. I'm always sad to hear that maintenance of public lands' road infrastructure has suffered in recent years, but glad you were still able to have a good time there, that is, once you did get there. Thanks for yet another fine and detailed BB report of your trip.
Rico.

Frank, yes I found (and posted) those moths last year, too. Thanks.
WS, I like it: Montana Seasoning it is. Thanks.
Rico, Thanks, it is a beautiful area. Glad you enjoyed the report.

Thanks Bill! As always wonderful photos, thanks for sharing.
I made the mistake of going later to N New Mexico (mid August) when the “record heat” settled in. Altitude had no effect on it!
