Ran the Rubicon this weekend in the TJ. It was rough. We'd been on the trail for six hours near Bucks Lake when my concentration failed me for a moment.

I was more concerned about the dog than anything else. PITA to get him out but he was unhurt. My crew (three rigs on our run) quickly got the winch cable run out and the Jeep righted. Waited a few minutes and it started right up and we continued the run. Got into Rubicon Springs after dark and at least we had something to talk about.
This is the first ever tip over I've had in all my years of offroading. Damage amazingly was minimal.

Just the same I think between age and desire my rock crawling days are behind me.

I’m glad you and the pup were unharmed.

I wish I had a pic of Riley. He was in an unusual spot. It was the dog, me and Jeep third. Trying to push a 75.lb dog out of a Jeep was a bitch. Probably should have left him at home.

Speaking of pilots, I saw a recent one of Blancolirios where it seems the pilot might have been okay if he just went around for another attempt.

Great all turned out OK and no injuries. At first look it's bad looking.
Yes at our ares some second thinking on some decisions is needed.
