I recently learned that Oregon resident veterans with a service related disability are eligible for two benefits that I was unaware of.
1) You can get a pass to Oregon State Parks that grant access, and forgo camping fees.
2) You are eligible to get one only Veteran’s Disability license plate. It is a one time purchase, and I believe does not to be renewed.
Our local Baker County veterans coordinator has sent in the documentation and application for the park pass, and I will stop by DMV to see which vehicle saves the most by having the veterans license.
