We just got back from our 1st trip with our 4WC Eagle Shell. And it wasn't even on the truck! Those following the Moon Truck build know that it isn't finished yet. So for our annual beach trip we had to do something else. That ended up being that we mounted the camper back on the boat trailer. It works well and we even mounted bike racks on the trailer under the overhang.
The rig tows well and is stable parked as a camper. We had a lot of positive comments from people at the campground on the rig. Yes we stayed in a NPS camprground on Ocracoke Island, NC. For the most part it's a quiet place and has flush toilets and outside showers. We were supposed to stay a week with friends and extended to 10 days. Mama Squatch loves the camper! We went unruffled by a couple of storms and some heat.
Our kitchen for the trip. We never even got around to trying the stove in tha camper.
