Portable Air Compressor

Hi All,

I'm thinking about buying a Viair 88P portable air compressor. All I'll need it for is adjusting the pressure on my 18" stock tires or helping someone out in an emergency. I have a regular compressor in my shop so this would only be used on the road. Anybody have any experience with Viair? What model? What are you using that you like??

We have a Viair 400p... Works well.

I've got the Viair 450p and have been happy with it. Of course, prior to having it I had nothing at all, so I really do not a have a frame of reference. Got a decent deal on it from Amazon.

I've got the 88P, it works great on our 18" E-load LTs.

Thanks for the feedback - sounds like Viair is a good product and it'll just come down to price point !!

I have a Viair 400P-RV and have been very happy with it. I've used it at home many times to maintain air pressure in my F250 and other vehicles. Also have successfully used it in the field on several occassions, including helping out other drivers in need twice.
