My maternal grandfather (1891-1966) was as proper of a Southern gentleman as you could ever meet. Upon purchasing a modest beach cottage on the Chesapeake Bay in 1956, he stencilled, in red, 4U2PN on the bathroom door of the bathroom serving the basement "dormitory" space used by us grandkids. Such talk was borderline scandalous for a captain of industry and pillar of the community such as he was, but he nonetheless delighted in showing guests around the cottage and seeing their reaction to his "naughty" signage.
The house and the door are still in the family now, 58 years later, and we still get a kick out of showing folks around the place. Just last year, the 5th generation starting spending some summer weeks and weekends on the Bay, in the person of our grandson, born in March 2013.
