powering camper from truck plugs

I had a six-pack truck camper for many years and it had the typical "Blue Ox" 7 pin (truck side) to 6 pin round (camper side) this Alaskan I have has no such plug I have a typical plug (7 pin) in the bed and one in the back under the bumper it's a 76 or 78 8 foot cab over. What do they even look like?

Look at the wiring diagrams in the manual pix provided in this Alaskan section. My '76 has a two-pin plug on thr LF side next to the Edison male 110-volt plug. One of the two-pin plugs is for your running lights. The other is for the back porch and the CO reading light.

The truck connection is a four- pin, utilizing three of the pins; the ground, the running lights and the back porch and CO reading light.

I have the same question, but my situtation is a little different... I have a 1988 (according to Brian) 10' co side dinette.....i have a round 4 plug on the front of the camper left side(bottom section)... this is for heater, ref, and water pump...I also have 2 round 4 wire plugs on the side of the camper( top section) one is the inverter feed with marking lights.... the other is for interior lights 2 seperate circuits..on same plug....also have 110 v plug...... just wondering how it was planed to be wired to truck???

You should post a request for a copy of the electrical section of the 1988 manual. Start with "Need 1988 CO Electrical Manual Info" and see if some kind soul will copy it for you. Your setup is much different than what Adrian and I have...we have a lot less "stuff" in our Alaskans!
