Used 2x3 aluminum bolted to the jack brackets and bam. Super awesome.

the same thing that keeps it out between the side and the awning.

nothing. you could use the track for their awning option and put a flap there that overlaps the awning, But its a minimal amount of space, about 1.5" gap

Is the awning only bolted to the 2x3 L bracket on the ends or is there a piece of stock running the length between brackets that it is bolted to? I really like this idea. Thanks for posting.
