Ram alternator fires

Saw this on the local news and I know some members here own newer model Ram HD trucks.

Yikes! The recall says 2007-2013 Ram 2500 and 3500 may be affected.

I had a '95 Dodge Ram (1st year of the new design), that had a transmission recall, a plastic tube would pop out of the trans when it got hot. I had flames wrapped around my doors one day. Maybe they are trying to be retro "bringing back the fire".

Wow thanks for posting. A friend has one I just sent her the link. Sounds like if you know about it and pack a fire extinguisher you can probably get it handled before things go really bad.
