Rear Lift Panel repair help needed

Hi all, I just discovered (hopefully) a small problem with my 2005 Eagle rear lift panel.
I suppose the pictures should be able to tell the story (I am having difficulty giving names to the defected parts)..
Any suggestion is greatly appreciated!

Looks like the hinge pin slid out the end, should be repairable. That spring might be tough to get back in place, but wont make that much difference without it.

Lift the top, realign the hinge sections, tap the pin back into place. If you can, try to get the spring back in place. Don't worry if you can't. Not sure what holds the pin in place, you can probably crimp/squeeze the end of the hinge.
