So I got the fan and mounting brackets from FWC. I attached the wires behind the refer to the fan, red to blue and black to black for the ground.I removed the rocker panel and located the wires behind the panel. Both of those wire are blue. How do I tell which is the ground or does it matter??

I tried to push the new rocker switch into the panel opening, thinking it would snap in. Afraid to break it but maybe I just need to push harder.

I have everything open I could use a little help.

Thanks,

jd

I would guess the single blue wire is only positive. Typically they would cut that in half and put a terminal on each end. One side of the blue wire goes to one side of the switch, the other side of the blue wire goes to the other side of the switch. Just completes the hot circuit (on or off). there should probably be no ground wire on the switch itself.

Would have been easier if the wires had a little more play. Struggled to get them on the back of the switch
They appear to be bundled and with no slack barely got them on.
