Ruby Crest Trail

Anyone been up to the Ruby Crest Trail lately? I'll be backpacking there (southbound) next week and was wondering how the trail is. Thanks!!

Our information is secondhand. We talked with 4 people last Friday from SLC and Vegas on the Toiyabe Crest Trail who diverted from the Rubys because of snow. I'd suggest a call to the local Humboldt Toiyabe National Forest District office.

Thanks Ski - the Rangers haven't had any recent reports. They believe there's snow at Liberty Pass - but how much??? Will probably just have to get up there and see for myself or maybe the Toiyabe Crest will be plan B.
