This probably doesn't apply very much to truck campers but it's interesting nonetheless.

Steve Lehto is a lawyer in Michigan who specializes in consumer protection and "lemon laws". He also runs a very popular YouTube channel. He's just done one titled FIGHT THE URGE TO BUY AN RV.

The basics of his argument is that if you buy a ten thousand dollar econo-car, it's covered by a lemon law in all fifty states. If you buy a quarter of a million dollar luxury motor home, it's not covered by any lemon law anywhere. He's got a lot of other interesting things to say as well. Worth watching.

(BTW, many of his other videos are also very interesting. Things like "When can the police search your vehicle on the side of the road", and "Passenger rights in a car pulled over by the police".)

Yes that is a very interesting video.
I know we don't use our rig as much as we have in the past.
Lots of reasons.
But on the RV issue,walk/drive around and you see a bunch of RVs
sitting in driveways/back yards, ect. And they are there is seems like year after year.
i can see some advantages to an RV but it's just not us.
Thanks for posting.

Frank, I rent a covered RV space to keep the camper and trailer out of the weather. There is an older class A motorhome beside us that was last licensed in 2013.
